On 19.07.2019 the teams of the Horizon Consortium (Bouygues Travaux Publics / Soletanche Bachy / BESSAC) - working on lot T2A of Line 15 South of the Grand Paris Express - left the construction area of Creteil l'Echat Station free for the Eiffage/Razel-Bec Consortium – to the launch the TBM Aby. The Creteil l'Echat station will serve as a launch and exit shaft. The Horizon Consortium will return to the site later.

Last July 2^nd the TBMs Aby and Marina were christened and will be used for the excavation of the South Line 15 . Aby has been named in honour of Aby Gaye, a French basketball player born in Vitry-sur-Seine, and Marina in honour of Marina Kvaskoff, a French epidemiologist. The Aby TBM will dig 4.3 km of tunnels towards Villejuif Louis-Aragon station. TBM Marina will start in the Autumn from the Arrighi well at Vitry-sur-Seine and will dig 2.65 km of tunnel towards Creteil l'Echat station. Click here and fr/127 for the tunnelbuilder archive.
