Piacenza Expo is already at work for the new edition of GEOFLUID, the international exhibition of technologies and equipment for the exploration, extraction and transport of underground fluids, a European reference point for drilling & foundations.
The next edition of the event that marked record numbers in 2023 - with 280 direct exhibitors and fifteen thousand visitors from 112 foreign countries - will take place from 7 to 10 October 2026 at the Piacenza Exhibition Centre - Italy.
The theme of water and new energies will continue to be the dominant feature of the next Geofluid. A feature that will be further enhanced by a technologically changed exhibitor fleet with the adoption of greater digitalisation thanks to artificial intelligence applied to site processes.
A green revolution in this sector that will again be supported by EU funds for the environment and investments by energy multinationals that can encourage new construction sites on both large-scale works and punctual interventions and to have a greater impact on the issues of environmental protection, hydrogeological instability and alternative sources.
The projects that can be implemented concern interventions for renewable energy, the search for rare earths such as lithium, combating hydrogeological instability, efficient use of water, and large infrastructure works for energy transport. Once again then geothermal energy, soil remediation and tunnel maintenance for road networks will be reference interventions for geotechnical operators.
The new equipment, software and technology already available for the shipbuilding industry will be the added value of the event, which boasts the certified status of an 'international exhibition'.
