First TBM reaches De Amicis Station in Milan

On the 04/03/2020 the first TBM, involved in the construction of the tunnel for the central section of the M4 line in Milan arrived at the De Amicis station. The TBM averaged 25m/day and has now completed 70% of its excavation. The machine will now be inspected and go through its maitnenace process before tunnelling towards Sant'Ambrogio station.
