First Expomatec for Madrid in 2011The first of a series of triennial business conferences and exhibitions is scheduled for Ifema, Madrid from 17-20 May, 2011. Organised by Ifema and Grupo TPI, Expomatec will bring construction industry professionals into contact with delegates from countries with large infrastructure budgets such as Brazil and Panama, and from regions such as Eastern Europe and North Africa. Sectors encompassed by the fair are infrastructure, civil works and mining. Ifema is huge, possibly the most advanced fairground of its type in Europe, with an underground station, auditoria for up to 1,500 people, almost 100 meeting rooms, parking for 14,000 cars, and access to 55,000 hotel rooms in Madrid.
