Final breakthrough for T-Connection in NorwayOn 13.10.2011 final breakthrough for the 9 km-long undersea tunnel of Norway's T-Connection was safely achieved by contractor AF Gruppen AS. The project, which includes both conventional and subsea tunnels, involves construction of a new 10.8 km east-west road and a 9.1 km north-south road. The T-Connection's two subsea tunnels each have three lanes, and run under Karmsundet (3,977 m) and Foerres Fjord (3,764 m).
