Eurasia Tunnel opens in December

The $1.25 billion Eurasia Tunnel, which is 14.6 km long with 3.4 km under the sea, connecting the European and Asian sides, will open to the public on 20.12.2016. Turkish President Erdogan had a test drive through the tunnel making the first journey from Asia to Europe underneath the Bosphorus.
