Drones to be used to inspect Dubai Metro Tunnels

On January 11^th 2020 RTA (Roads and Transport Authority) revealed the intention to start a trial-run of drones to inspect the Dubai Metro tunnels which extend 14 km on both the Red and Green Lines.

Using drones enables a precise and fast inspection of the condition of assets. It saves the inspection time, enables accessibility to arduous spots and generates highly accurate reports about the condition of tunnels. Visit https://www.rta.ae. 03/20.
