On 26.02.2019 at 14h00 Bane NOR reached an important milestone with the final double breakthrough on the Follo Line project. Anna and Magda, the last two of the 4 Follo Line TBMs broke through at Kvakestad in Ski, completing Norways longest railway tunnels .

The tunnel stretch completed is the longest of the Follo Line. The tunnelling works were originally started in September 2016. The first double breakthrough by Queen Eufemia and Queen Ellisiv TBMs was in Ekebergåsen on the 11.09.2018. 

The main contractor for the TBM project is Acciona Ghella (AGJV) but has a further 18 subcontractors.
