The TBMs - used for excavating the Cross River Rail’s tunnel in Brisbane - have now been taken away from site, allowing the gantry crane to be removed as well: click here for the video. Construction can also start on the final section of the Northern Tunnel Portal roof that was kept open to extract the TBM components.  

Delivery of railway tracks for the twin tunnels has also begun. Railway tracks for the northern section of the Cross River Rail twin tunnels will be installed via the Northern Tunnel Portal site.
