The final breakthrough of the last TBM for the Copenhagen Cityringen Metro happened on the 13th of February 2017. TBM2 Tria reached the Copenhagen Central station, KH- Københavns Hovedbanegård. The Copenhagen Metro Team is a joint venture lead by Salini Impregilo.

The new Cityringen circle line has 15.5km twin tunnels, which were was a total excavation of 31km. This created a railway underneath downtown Copenhagen with 17 underground stations.
