Despite the set of measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus, the pace and scope of work on the construction of the Moscow's subway will not decrease. Today, active tunnelling in Moscow involves 23 TBMs at different sites. The construction has been ongoing and has been done without  any interruptions. The 600 km of subway tunnels in Moscow have now been disinfected.

Four stations (Yugo-Vostochnaya, Okskaya, Stakhanovskaya, Nizhegorodskaya)  of the Nekrasovskaya line and two (Aviamotornaya and  Lefortovo) on the Big Circle Line (BCL) were opened on 27/03/2020 in Moscow. By the end of the year, the construction of three more stations of the  BCL - Karamyshevskaya , Ulitsa Narodnogo Opolcheniya and Elektrozavodskaya (design name - Rubtsovskaya) will be completed .
