Costruzioni Elettrotecniche Cear Srl continues to improve Milan's road network by participating in the construction of the M4 underground or "Blue Line", which will connect the historic centre with the eastern part (Q.re Forlanini and Aeroporto Linate) and with the western part (Q.re Lorenteggio and Stazione San Cristoforo).
Since 2014, Cear has supplied equipment for the electrical distribution of construction sites, including 400A ASC socket-outlets, CEI 0-16 Medium Voltage switchboards, 500KVA-630KVA and 1000 kva outdoor MT/BT transformer booths, and has overhauled and will upgrade the transformer booths already owned by a customer.
For the current phase of excavation of the TBMs, Cear plans to deliver during 2018-2019 about ten compact tunnel cabins needed to power the machinery and about sixty junction boxes for the Medium Voltage cables to be installed in the tunnel.
