An underground concrete machinery open house dedicated to tunnelling machines was held in July at CIFA headquarters in Senago (MI). On the CIFA test field, which was set up for the occasion, machines demonstrated spray simulations. The new mixer Coguaro4, designed for transportation of concrete in tunnels and mines, has good transportation capacity and can move in small spaces. It is 2.5 m-high and the drum has a maximum capacity of 4 cu m. An innovative electrically operated hydraulic transmission, a hydrauilic pump and two hydraulic motors mounted directly on the axles, without mechanical parts moving, ensure maximum drive and reliability with minimum fuel consumption.
