On the 22/10/2020 the Mixshield TBM (diameter 6.54 m)  for the Los Angeles Outfall Tunnel project arrived at its destination.  

The Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts invited Los Angeles County students in grades 1 through 12 to participate in the Clearwater Project’s TBM naming and art contests. The deadline for entries submission has been postponed from 15 /10/20 to 15/11/20. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will receive gift cards of USD300, USD200, and USD100, respectively, and recognition at an awards ceremony this December.
