City Tunnel opens in MalmoThe Malmo City Tunnel was officially opened last month by King Carl Gustav XVI of Sweden. The 17 km-long project is the final section of the direct link between Denmark and Sweden over the Oresund Bridge. It connects the main train station in Malmo with the Danish capital of Copenhagen. The project will ensure significantly lower travel times and two new train stations will provide improved connections for the entire Oresund region. Project value is EUR850 million.
