On the 29th August 2017, CREG was awarded a new contract for the supply of a 15.8m slurry TBM. This TBM will be used for the Chunfeng tunnel project in Shenzhen and it will be the biggest slurry TBM ever made before by CREG.

The Chunfeng Project is one the most important municipal projects and will ease the traffic congestion significantly in the Shenzhen megalopolis once completed. The total tunnel length will be more than 5000m, of which 3583m will be built by the TBM.
