CEAR has completed a plan of investment in research and development that has been given an ATEX standard 2014/34/UE notification for the company's quality system and for the conformity of production of products marked ‘Ex’. Also a product certificate has been issued for distribution of MV/LV transformer substations in 'Ex p' up to 20m³. 

The compact substation is built to be used in environments with explosive atmospheres. The objective of the design is to provide an apparatus that is versatile. Its electrics and instruments  can be modified to fit according to the customers needs. The pressurization systems have been calculated to ensure maximum safety conditions and continuity of use. The pressurized substation can also be installed on a slide or with a wheel undercarriage as optional features without affecting its safety features.
