Electricity feeds to key equipment such as TBM and utilities is a focus of attention at construction sites, to ensure continuity of excavation and production. The necessary switchgear and MV/LV substations have specific requirements of heavy duty and compactness.

The CTS MV/LV compact substation is modular and easily adaptable to the needs of the site. CEAR designs each unit to the required dimensions, fittings, and configurations of plugs and sockets for the particular equipment in use.

At Cerro de Aguila hydro project in Peru, contractor Astaldi needed to supply electricity to pumps and machinery along the service tunnel.
