Bypass for Palermo railway

On 02.12.2013 details were released about the 5 km-long bypass Section B for the railway network in Palermo. Opened is scheduled by December, 2018 with an investment of over EUR218 million. The project includes a new 2 km-long rock tunnel from Notarbartolo station to the new Belgio stop, and two new stops at Lazio and Belgio/De Gasperi.
