On 28.04.2017 the joint venture Osafl Sf Marti Contractors (50%) and IAV (50%) from Reykjavik (Iceland), completed the driving operations on the Vadlaheidi road toll tunnel in Iceland. They blasted the last 3 m separating the eastern portal from the western portal. The excavation was carried out in solid rock by using drill & blast method.
