During the London December`s BTS (British Tunnelling Society) evening Andy Alder, Tideway Programme Director, gave an update on the Tideway Projects current progress and the approaches being used. This was followed by presentations from BMB JV (the joint venture between BAM Nuttall Ltd, Morgan Sindall Plc and Balfour Beatty Group Ltd) FLO JV (which is the joint venture between Ferrovial Agroman UK Ltd, Laing O’Rourke Construction) and the CVB JV (a joint venture between  Costain Vinci Construction Grands Projects Bachy Soletanche). All these companies are involved in the West, Central and East Contracts and work at the numerous Tideway worksites. They explain some of the technical challenges that have been overcome.
