The Provincial Fire Brigade Command approved, on 21 November, the final design of the Rebaudengo-Polytechnic section of the metro Line 2 in Turin.  

The project represents the "first case" in Italy of full application of the Ministerial Decree dated 21 October 2015 (Approval of the fire prevention technical rule for the design, construction and operation of subways) for a new line.  

The 9.4km section will include the depot Rebaudengo and 13 stations (Rebaudengo, Giulio Cesare, S.Giovanni Bosco, Corelli, Cimarosa, Bologna, Novara, Verona, Mole Giardini, Carlo Alberto, Porta Nuova, Pastrengo and Politecnico), the tunnel will be built by TBM (64%), cut&cover (29%) and NATM (7%).
