Kahina the TBM built by SELI Overseas, who were employed by Algiers Metro has broken through. The 1380 m tunnel is the longest of the 9.6km El-Harrach – Aeroport section which includes 9 stations. It was an important milestone for Cosider Travaux Publics and EMA (Entreprise Metro d'Alger), considering the enormous difficulties caused by the pandemic in the last two years.
