Due to design changes during the construction phase, the contract amount awarded to the consortium Xenia from Rome, composed of Webuild (leader), Ghella, Impresa Pizzarotti & C. and TunnelPro, is now a EUR2.10 bn contract, excluding VAT, for the executive design and construction of the new HS/HC Salerno - Reggio Calabria - Lot 1a Battipaglia - Romagnano and interconnection with the old Battipaglia - Potenza line.
