The Gateway Development Commission (GDC) identified a shortlist of qualified teams who will receive an invitation to submit a proposal in response to a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a design-bid-build contractor that will perform construction and other related work for the Hudson River Tunnel, which is a key element of the Gateway Program.
Shortlisted teams include:
- Gateway Tunnel Contractors (GTC): Halmar International LLC and FCC Construction Inc;
- Hudson Tunnel Constructors (HTC): Dragados USA Inc., Schiavone Construction Co LLC and The Lane Construction Corporation;
- Traylor / Walsh / Skanska JV: Traylor Bros Inc, Walsh Construction Company II LLC and Skanska USA Civil Northeast Inc.
The shortlisted teams are among those that submitted a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) in the month of December 2024 in response to a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) issued by GDC.
