The Align JV (Bouygues Travaux Publics, VolkerFitzpatrick, Sir Robert McAlpine), responsible for delivering the main works civil contract (Lot C1) of HS2 -the new high-speed rail network between London and Birmingham – have contracted SOCOTEC Monitoring UK Ltd to supply, install and monitor instrumentation along the 21.6 km route as well as record and deliver the resulting data via Calyx OMS, Socotec Monitoring’s online data visualization platform. The 21.6 km route includes 16.04 twin- bored tunnel with five vent shafts handling both intervention and tunnel ventilation facilities.
