Open invitation to tender, deadline 10.06.2009, for engineering design for transferring a section of the Madrid-Valencia de Alcantara railway in Illescas (Toledo) underground. The new section is a 3.8 km-long dual track, parallel to the existing railway, entry and exit ramps to the tunnel included, with two new underground stations. The tunnel will be equipped with seven safety exits, one every 250 m. Contracted value EUR815,150, duration 18 months.
