Prior information notice for the construction of a 7.55 km long tunnel with an internal diameter of 3.6 m, parallel to the existing San Silvestre tunnel and with an interdistance of 30 cm. The tunnel will be built with a double shielded TBM and will be lined with HM-40 concrete segments reinforced with steel fiber. The project intends to increase the 10 m3/s maximum capacity of the San Silvestre tunnel, which is currently a bottleneck for the needs of the Andevalo and Chanza basins, as the upstream and downstream infrastructures allow passage of up to 20 m3/s .
Estimated date of publication of contract notice: 01/10/2021. Contract value EUR 52.76 million, excluding VAT. Duration of the contract will be 36 months.
