The Province of South Holland has awarded the EUR492 million
contract for building the RijnlandRoute to the consortium Comol5, composed of
TBI companies Mobilis and Croonwolter&dros (25% each), DIMCO - DEME Infra
Marine Contractors (25%) and VINCI Construction Grands Projets (25%). Croonwolter
& dros is responsible for the tunnel technical installations. Comol5 will
have to rebuild the motorway junction at Leiden West, build a new 4-km roadway
(N434) that includes a 2.2-km tunnel segment, widen motorway sections totalling
12 km in length, and make required adjustments on motorways A4 and A44 required
for construction of the RijnlandRoute.
These will be made under traffic with related interchanges . In addition to construction,
which will be completed in about 6 years. Comol5 will also be responsible for
