The Consortium Dolomiti Webuild Implenia from Fortezza have secured the EUR 1.07 bn contract, excluding VAT, for the design and construction for the quadrupling of the current Fortezza-Verona railway, section Fortezza-Ponte Gardena (Lot 1). The new 25 km from the Fortezza interconnection to the Ponte Gardena station, will include the two twin -tube tunnels Scaleres (15.4 km) and Gardena (6.3 km), joined by a viaduct over the Eisack River.
