Postponed from 20/04/2023 to 08/05/2023 the deadline for submitting binding offers for the construction of the section of the Northern Road Axis of Crete (BOAK) from 157 km Chania to Heraklion. Total budget amounts to EUR1.75 billion, of which EUR600 million have been committed by the new NSRF and EUR200 million by the Recovery Fund. The Kissamos - Chania section has also been included in this large project as an option.
The schemes that claim the project and have already passed to the second phase are Aktor Concession, Gek Terna, J&P Avax, Vinci and K/X Mytilineos-Acciona-Intertoll.
