Open call for bids, deadline 24th September, 2003 for construction in the area of Prasson, western Crete of a 3,320 m-long 13 sq m tunnel for the passage of a pipeline that will transport water from the Amari dam to the plain of Rethimno for irrigation and drinking water. Also construction of a drainage tunnel, length 140 m and inner cross section 6.5 sq m, and an obstruction tunnel in the area of the Amari dam. The site of the project is 10 km south of the city of Rethimno on the northern side of Crete.
