Attiki Odos project financed solely by group of 12 contractors led by Aktor comprises Elefsina-Stavros-Spata and Imittos western peripheral motorways to connect new Athens Spata airport with national road no 2 to Korinth across the northern suburbs of Athens. Job involves six drill/blast tunnels of 7 km total length. One third are complete and lined, another 1.5 km have been excavated, and the remainder are in design. More from filio@aktor.gr March 2000.
