Invitation to tender by negotiated procedure, deadline 20.05.2010, for construction of Lots 1A and 1B twin-tube tunnels. Lot 1A is the 18.7 km-long Filder tunnel to be excavated in Keuper gypsum/marl and marl/sandstone and including 19 compound structures of 17-24 m-long, 250 m-long underground rescue access, 1.3 km-long intermediate section, and 255 m-long open cut tunnel. Lot 1B is the 12.3 km-long Untertuerkheim connection to be excavated with associated structures in Keuper marls and Upper Quaternary deposits. NATM or TBM methods can be used in both lots.
