Metro Line 12

Syndicat des Transports d'Ile-de-France has voted in favour of a northern extension to Line 12 between Porte de la Chapelle and Mairie d'Aubervilliers. This 3.8 km underground extension will have three stations in Proudhon-Gardinoux, Pont de Stains, and Mairie d'Aubervilliers. The cost to bore the tunnel and the stations is estimated at about €300 million, financed by the French government, the Ile-de-France region, and the Seine Saint-Denis departement. Service to the Proudhon-Gardinoux station is scheduled for 2007.
