The JV NCC-SMET Kalvebod Konsortiet from Soborg and SMET-Tunnelling from Dessel have secured the EUR37.84 million (DKK281.36 million) contract, excluding VAT, for the construction of a storm water tunnel between Skt. Jorgens So and Kalvebod Brygge with outlet (via a pumping station) in the Copenhagen Harbour at Kalvebod Brygge. The tunnel (1265 m) will be built 15-20 m deep and have 2 separate tunnels: one with 2m inner diameter and 538 m length; the other with 3 m inner diameter and 702 m length).
