Femern A / S has pre-qualified the following three consortia
- Bravida-Efacec-GE-Consortium: Bravida Danmark A/S (Denmark), EFACEC Engenharia e Sistemas SA (Portugal) and GE Energy Power Conversion GmbH (Germany);
- Elecnor SA (Spain);
- Siemens-Aarsleff: Siemens Mobility A/S (Denmark) and Aarsleff Rail A/S (Denmark);
to compete for the task of establishing a large transformer station that will supply the Fehmarn tunnel and the railway between Denmark and Germany with green electricity.
Femern A / S expects to receive an initial offer from the bidders before the end of 2021 and a final offer in the middle of 2022.
