Zublin International GmbH Chile SpA secured a EUR170million three-year contract for the construction of a further 40 km of tunnels for the Candelaria Norte mine on behalf of their client Lundin Mining. The new contract also includes the loading and transport of more than 3 million tonnes of rock. The Candelaria Copper Mining Complex is located at an elevation of approximately 650 m above sea level and 20 km south of the city of Copiapo.
