Request for Qualifications, deadline 14/09/2023, to invite interested parties to indicate their interest in, and their qualifications for, the 800 m Fraser River tunnel project. The project includes replacement of the existing George Massey tunnel with an eight-lane, toll-free immersed-tube tunnel. The new tunnel will have three general-purpose lanes and a dedicated transit lane in each direction, as well as a separated walking and cycling path. The Project also includes either replacement or repurposing of the existing Deas Slough Bridge, and decommissioning of the Existing Tunnel once the New Tunnel is operational.
