Request for Proposals, deadline 08/08/2022, for a Contractor to undertake a Test Dredge in support of the Fraser River Tunnel Project, which will replace the existing George Massey Tunnel. The Test Dredge will consist of an excavation and related works within the Fraser River, approximately 300 meters upstream from the George Massey Tunnel, with the purposes of assess feasibility of the in-river excavation schedule; assess stability of the upstream and downstream slopes of the excavation; determine potential for erosion and migration of the proposed side slopes; understand feasibility and effectiveness of scour protection on the side slopes of the excavation; Determine changes to flow patterns and rates of sedimentation in the excavation.Electronic proposals has to be submitted to email FRTproposalcontact@gov.bc.ca.
