The Rideau Transit Group consortium, led by ACS Infrastructure with SNC-Lavalin, secured the CAN$2.1-billion contract to build the Ottawa Confederation Line light-rail transit system. Much of the 12.5-km east-west line that includes 13 stations and a 2.5 km downtown tunnel and will be completed by 2017.The entire route is expected to be in service by May of the following year.
