Open invitation to tender, deadline 12.10.2018, for the construction of the U2/22 section of the metro line 2 in Vienna. The tender includes the construction of the new station Rathaus, as part of the intersection construction of two of Vienna’s subway lines U2 and U5, an emergency exit shaft in the Reichsratsstrasse, a service shaft (including entrance) at the Tulpengasse and a tunnel close to the station Schottentor or until section U2/17 in the area of Augustinplatz. Furthermore, the track construction works are part of this tender.

The length of the construction section U2/22 is 1.293 m in track 1 and 1.317 m in track 2, from Matzleinsdorfer Platz to Schottentor. The section begins after the section U2/17 TVM-Vortriebe (Track 1: km 17,7 + 53,498 Track 2: km 17,7 + 80,833) and ends at the Schottentor (Track 1 km: 19,0 + 52,003 Track 2 km: 19,1 + 03,000). Duration of the contract will be 87 months.
