Debed Hydro LLC, a subsidiary of Energy Invest Holding CJSC,
has awarded Poyry with the engineering services and consultancy services
assignment for the feasibility study for the 76 MW Shnogh Hydroelectric Project
in the Republic of Armenia. Poyry will review the existing documents, which
will be made available by Debed Hydro LLC, and will undertake the following
studies: Meteorology, Hydrology & Sedimentology; Topography; Geology &
Engineering Geology; Analysis and Interpretation of additional Geotechnical
Field Investigations; Construction Materials Studies; Water Resources Planning
& Reservoir and Plant Operation Studies; Environmental & Social
Screening; and Seismicity.
Poyry will provide reports on Hydraulic Design of the
Alternatives; Feasibility Design of the Selected Alternatives; Construction
Schedule; BoQ & Cost Estimate; and Economic Evaluation.
The Feasibility Study is planned to be completed by June
2018.
