World Tunnel Congress in BudapestThe next ITA World Tunnel Congress (WTC 09), entitled Underground Space and Tunnelling: Planning with Vision, will be organized by the Hungarian Tunnelling Association for Budapest from 23rd to 28th May, 2009.A thousand delegates are expected to take part in technical discussions about safe tunnelling, technical innovations, and training. The session on planning of modern tunnelling projects will review the SMART in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Madrid Metro in Spain; utility and transport tunnels in Helsinki, Finland; deep sewage tunnels in Hong Kong, China; and the Lyon-Turin rail link between France and Italy.
