The breakthrough of a veteran Robbins hardrock TBM on 19.05.2014 at the Lemay Redundant Force Main in St. Louis, MO was its twelfth in over 40 km of rock, since its manufacture in 1981. The TBM, nicknamed “Chelsea the Chomper” bored 945 m in mostly limestone rock in less than three months.
