On 28.09.2013 the second lot of Ora ring road opened to traffic, including the 1,062 m-long San Daniele tunnel. The new tunnel has the largest hall in Italy, the sixth largest in the world, located at the south adit, including the main roadway, the inbound and outbound one-way ramps, linking the roundabout junction between the SS12 and SS48.
