On 22.02.2012, the 9.80 m-diameter EPB TBM Nannarella completed excavation of the difficult 1.1 km-long Conca d’Oro-Jonio tunnel, part of the extension of B1 line of Rome metro. The TBM, which started from Conca d’Oro station in June, 2010, was under the direction of subcontractor SELI.
