To date, in relation to the Stad ship tunnel construction project, about 50 contractors and suppliers have registered for the Supplier Conference. The conference will be held in Gardermoen on the 31st January and organized by Kystverket (Norwegian Coastal Administration). Some of the main contractors that have expressed interest are from Norway and some from other countries. Among them there are companies that have the capability to build the tunnel as well as numerous more specialized suppliers, interested in subcontracting the main contract.

Kystverket made draft parts of the tender for the general contract available to the participants of the Supplier Conference. The publication of the tender is expected toward the end of 2023.
The advance information provided is intended to give the market a basis for constructive dialogue at the Supplier Conference and subsequent one-to-one talks with potential turnkey contractors. Feedback on the draft tender documents will be collected at the conference and afterwards and this will help to optimize the tender. Kystverket also sent suppliers specific questions about tender documents, qualification requirements, award criteria and more, asking for answers.
