Normet Celebrates Launching of Spraymec 7110 WPC at IntermatIntermat 2003 exhibition held in Paris 13th to 17th May, 2003 has been the occasion for Normet to launch its novelty - Spraymec 7110 WPC spraymobile. It is designed for concrete spraying in most various spraying situations underground. Spraymec 7110 series contains many new aspects and features and complete Normet's range of spraymobiles. Spraymec 7110 is a versatile product concept for medium-sized tunnels and tunnel projects with variable cross sections. It reaches roof heights of 11 m and even higher, but it enables also efficient spraying in tunnels with only 12 sq m cross sections. It is laid out for high performance production of first quality sprayed concrete. It is built on Normet's new rigid frame, wheel-steered NC 70 carrier for underground use and furnished with a concrete pump with maximum pumping capacity of 40 m3/h. The accelerator dosing system of the spraymobile allows an accurate dosing in varying spraying situations. The new Sprayboom 510 provides the spraying reach to 11 m. It permits the spraying of varying round lengths, between steel supports, into narrow niches, stopes, and behind corners - much easier than conventional booms. The boom is furnished with IQUAN control system that reduces quantity of hydraulic hoses. It permits full programming of boom movements and progresssive operating. Spraying nozzle with good mixing properties, less blockages and low rebound allow spraying with less variations of layer thickness, and better quality of sprayed concrete. The on board air compressor is sound proofed and delivers 10 m3/min at 7 bar pressure. Reels and power packs are well protected from dirt and spilled concrete as well as from accidental squeezing of operator's hands. Normet was established in 1962 and produces mobile construction machines and equipment for underground mining and tunnelling.
