Grand St Bernard safety tunnelOn 31.07.2011 Lovat TBM Isabelle completed 2.9 km of the 5.8 km-long emergency tube of the Grand St Bernard tunnel. Construction of the 23 drill/blast cross passages at 240 m intervals is ongoing, and work at the south site has started. Project completion is scheduled for 2015. Click it/91 and here.
